BRAIN & HEARING

Standing on the shoulders of giants.

As an honours graduate of the University of Western Australia, Kento conducted his epidemiological research into young adult hearing disorders under the supervision of Dr. Rob Eikelboom at Ear Science.

Kento is now a research assistant in the Brain & Hearing team, assisting Associate Professor Mel Ferguson with projects looking into the association between hearing loss and cognitive impairment.  He is also involved in research that aims to determine the effectiveness of alternative devices to hearing aids

  • Service delivery models to increase accessibility, and
  • Participation through early detection and intervention.
