At Ear Science Institute Australia, we work with ear surgeons to provide patients with greater access to ear and hearing surgery to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
Renowned ear and hearing implant surgeon, Professor Marcus Atlas, works with Ear Science, training many fellows in ear and cochlear implant surgery fellowship. In 2025, we also welcomed Professor Michael Gluth who holds the Gordon McLaren Chair in Ear Science Surgery & Research at UWA and is a lead surgeon scientist at Ear Science Institute Australia.
For cochlear implantation, alongside Professor Atlas, all specialist ear surgeons are fellowship-trained and members of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons.
