Ear Science Institute Australia is pleased to welcome internationally recognised ear and hearing specialist Professor Michael Gluth to the Ear Science Surgical Facility in Western Australia.

Professor Gluth brings with him more than two decades of clinical, surgical, research and teaching experience. A highly respected ear and skull base surgeon, Professor Gluth has dedicated his career to advancing patient care through a combination of clinical excellence, research and innovation. His expertise spans chronic ear disease, hearing loss, cochlear implantation and complex ear surgery, with a strong focus on translating research discoveries into real-world patient outcomes.

Professor Gluth will provide specialised services at the Ear Science Surgical Facility, giving patients in Western Australia access to exceptional care in ear and hearing health. He will work closely with audiologists, general practitioners and specialist colleagues, providing a collaborative approach to patient care.

Professor Gluth is already familiar with Western Australia and Ear Science, having previously undertaken advanced fellowship training in Otology and Skull Base Surgery in Perth under the guidance of Ear Science’s Founding Director, Professor Marcus Atlas. His return to Perth supports the broader development of Ear Science’s implant services and strengthens the region’s clinical, research and surgical capabilities in ear and hearing health.

We look forward to supporting Professor Gluth’s clinical practice and the specialist care that he will provide to those in our community.
