What a fantastic weekend at the Telethon Family Festival!
On Sunday 18 October, the Ear Science team joined thousands of Western Australian families at RAC Arena and along Wellington Street to help celebrate the 59th Telethon and share why healthy hearing and ear health matter.
At the Ear Science stall, families explored how hearing works, learned simple ear-care tips and discovered how our research, including the Aussie Ear Bank, is advancing treatments for hearing loss and ear disease.
Our “Guess How Many Lollies Are in the Jar” activity was a big hit, with children and parents alike trying their luck. Congratulations to our six lucky winners, who each took home a prize! 🍬🎉
As a proud Telethon beneficiary, we’re incredibly grateful to Telethon and the Western Australian community for their ongoing support. Every conversation, activity and smile on the day helped raise awareness of hearing health and how research can change lives.
