Dr Pramod Dorishetty, a Research Scientist at Ear Science Institute Australia, has been awarded the prestigious 2026 Barry Marshall Travel Award Grant, to support his participation at the 2026 Australasian Society for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (ASBTE) Conference.
Pramod Dorishetty expresses his sincere gratitude to The Hospital Research Foundation Group (THRFGroup) for the travel grant, which enabled him to engage with the leading researchers in biomaterials and tissue engineering from across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. He noted that the conference participation significantly strengthens both the scientific rigour and translational potential of Ear Science’s research by enabling new partnerships.
The travel grant is named after Ear Science’s Patron and Nobel Laureate Prof. Barry Marshall, to support WA-based researchers and clinicians to attend national or international scientific conferences fostering a culture of aspiration, innovation, and information sharing among emerging researchers.
