Researchers Get an Inside Look with Otoscopy Training Session

Researchers at Ear Science Institute Australia recently had the opportunity to take part in an Otoscopy Training Session, run by Lions Hearing Clinic audiologists Sophie Cooper and Caroline Fanning, North Area Manager.

Held at the Lions Hearing Clinic in the Ralph & Patricia Sarich Neuroscience Research Institute building, the session covered various aspects of conducting video otoscopy and provided the researchers with an insight into patient examination and subsequent care.

“This multidisciplinary approach, with researchers and clinicians collaborating to address the complexities when carrying out a video otoscopy, provides an opportunity where skills and knowledge can be shared,” says David Sly, Chief Operating Officer of Research.

Ear Science Institute Australia prides itself on its core mission to enhance the lives of people with ear and hearing disorders through a combined focus on research, education, and clinical care.
