Collaborating with the World Health Organization for World Hearing Day

World Hearing Day is an annual advocacy event held on the 3rd of March and kicking off Hearing Awareness Week, which runs until the 9th of March.

The day aims to raise awareness and promote ear and hearing care across the world. It is a World Health Organization (WHO) initiative and this year, the theme is simple – ‘check your hearing!’

Many people live with unidentified hearing loss, often failing to realise that they are missing out on certain sounds and words. Checking your hearing is the first step towards addressing the issue.

How can you check your hearing?

We’re providing a free hearing screening you can do online in less than 3 minutes.

And, until the end of March, Lions Hearing Clinic are offering free in-person hearing screenings to new clients.

These hearing screenings take less than 15 minutes, will let you know if further testing is required, and can be done at any Lions Hearing Clinic across WA.

Call us today on 1300 847 395 to book an appointment at your nearest clinic.

Did you know?
Hearing loss is on the rise.

Unless action is taken, the World Health Organization’s projections show that by 2030, there will be nearly 630 million people with disabling hearing loss; by 2050, the number could rise to over 900 million*.
