Frequently Asked Questions

Implant Referrals NSW

Your GP may refer you to an ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat specialist) if they believe it’s needed.

For hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, or ear infections, it’s often best to see an audiologist first. A hearing assessment helps determine whether an ENT referral is necessary and provides key information that ENTs usually require.

At Lions Hearing Clinic, our audiologists work closely with GPs and ENTs, ensuring you get the right referral and the best pathway for your hearing health.

I was previously with Value hearing, and was very happy with them. Now Lions hearing has taken over the business and it seems to be just as good. The checkup was very thorough and the staff were all very friendly. The cost was very reasonable and I was completely satisfied with the whole experience. I will continue with Lions Hearing for future hearing issues.
I was treated to excellence by an exceptionally gifted audiologist in Farah Amat at Woodvale Lions clinic. Not only did she thoroughly explain everything she also conducted the the tests very thoroughly and then revitalised my aging Unitron Hearing Aids by conducting a thorough service and maintenance on them She is an asset to the Lions team at Woodvale Congratulations Farah👏👏👌👏🏆🏆
A very professional and friendly staff, great service and a friendly experience with a great outcome.
I was attended to by a caring young man who gave me a thorough hearing investigation, The equipment was exceptional. I left feeling extremely satisfied from the experience.
I can’t rate Sheng highly enough. He was so very patient with me as I navigated the different hearing aid trials. I had many questions and concerns and he was amazing at looking after me and meeting my needs. I am so grateful to him and Lions Hearing Clinic for putting up with all my queries. I am so grateful to Sheng. Many thanks
Lions Hearing Clinic at Winthrop has given me fantastic personalised professional service for several years. Warmly recommended.
Very professional, comprehensive and competent.
I once again felt quite special when I received a really lovely, warm welcoming smile from the attentive lady behind the counter, when I recently dropped by to obtain a fresh set of batteries for my hearing aids.
Such a shame that the batteries last so long.
Just saying...
The service provided was informative, friendly and very professional.
Lions Hearing at Woodvale are the best!
I have been wearing hearing aids for about 20 years. I have mild to moderate hearing loss. I upgraded to new aids over a year ago at another provider, paying $5000 out-of-pocket for the best ones available from that provider. I HATED them and found myself using my old pair as they suited me better. I phoned the audiologist concerned explaining why I was not getting on with them and her response was very dismissive, telling me, and I quote, “That’s what you paid for”
So I struggled until one of my older pair stopped working altogether, and went to see Farah at WOODVALE LIONS HEARING. She was brilliant. I was interested in another expensive upgrade but Farah reassured me that the ones I had would be just as good with her help and some minor adjustments. She was right. I am now very happy with the ones I bought a year ago. My broken aid from my older pair just needed a new tube, which she replaced on the spot. SomI now have a really good pair and a good spare pair. Thanks Farah!
Not forgetting the great reception staff.
“Should’ve gone to Woodvale” in the first place!
