Medicare rebates

Medicare rebates are available for patients referred by their GP for a full hearing assessment.

To support eligibility, the referral should state that a full hearing assessment is required.

A full hearing assessment may include:
  • Item 82315 – Air and Bone Conduction audiogram and speech audiometry
