Ear Science presents and chairs at recent forum

Adjunct Professor Rod Dilley was a guest speaker at the recent UWA Higher Degree Research (HDR) Forum, hosted by the UWA Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. Adj Prof Dilley was joined by fellow academics Professor Andrew Whitehouse (Telethon Kids Institute) and Associate Professor Charlene Kahler (UWA).

These senior medical researchers talked to postgraduate students about their personal journey from early career researchers to where they are now. The forum focused on helping students transition into their early research careers.

Not only that, but our very own PhD student Huan Ting Ong chaired the HDR Forum. Ting is Research Student Representative for the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and with this recent forum has achieved her first goal of hosting professional development seminars for postgraduate students.
