Heard on Hack on Triple JOn the 25th November 2009 a segment was run on Triple J's Hack program which followed a woman called Kate and her experience with getting a cochlear implant. The story outlined her fears and misgivings about the benefits of the implant as well as what happened when her implant was switched on. To hear her story head to the Hack website. |

|
Work is progressing well at ESIA's new clinical and research facility. The roof of the building is in the process of being installed, as are some of the windows. Upon walking through the building, there is a real appreciation of the actual size and outlook of the facility. The fit-out of the ground and top floor is progressing, whilst the middle floor is touted to include a Day Surgery along with other training facilities. The work at the Presbytery is now complete, much to Father Joseph's delight. The building is on track to be completed by September 2009 Click a picture to get a larger view…
